“I am inspired by my second chance at life. I know that every day, I am given the opportunity (and the privilege) to be better and do better.”

About Me
I’m a compassionate therapist with experience working with children and families in medical settings, providing support through challenging health journeys. I am also skilled in grief counseling, helping bereaved communities navigate loss. In addition, I work with athletes to manage performance anxiety, build confidence, and develop positive self-talk. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for clients to heal, grow, and thrive.
Why did you decide to become a social worker?
I became a social worker through my own profound experiences with my medical social worker. When I was 7 years old, I was diagnosed with Stage III Ovarian Cancer. My social worker made a meaningful difference for both me and my family, and I can only hope to have the same impact on other individuals, families, and communities I serve.
What types of clients are you most excited to work with?
I'm excited to work with clients who are open to a journey of self-reflection and growth.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
When you view life through the lens of gratitude, you cultivate a positive mindset, appreciate the present, and find joy in the simple things, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and resilient life.
Why did you choose to practice at Ashe Counseling?
I found that the meaning behind Ashe, "the power to make things happen", was illuminated throughout the symbolism, messaging, and representation behind the powerful group that comprises Ashe. I felt drawn to be part of this community of healers and feelers.
